About the Owner I started my aviation career at age 14 when I took my first flying lesson. I later obtained my private pilot license and went on to attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to further my education. There I studied avionics, aircraft maintenance and obtained a B.S. degree in Aviation Technology. I also held the avionics repair station supervisor position on campus toward the end of my stay at Riddle. After obtaining an A&P license, I went on to work for Gulfstream Aerospace as an installation technician. I later moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and held a Lead Avionics Technician position with Jet Aviation which later became Midcoast Aviation. It was there that I gained a wealth of invaluable experience on a variety of aircraft and avionics Systems. Due to the large amount of corporate traffic in the Southeast, I saw a need for a mobile avionics repair facility. At my previous job, I was constantly traveling to repair downed aircraft. The customer's were incurring many costs that could be reduced through the use of a privately owned facility. I was the one that all of the customer's requested anyway, so why not cut out the middle man and please everyone. In early 2007, My wife Joan and I started AOG Aircraft Maintenance Inc. Our goal is to provide the best avionics support available at an overall reduced cost to you. |
